Server Move

As some may have noticed Nox was down for a server move.

The community was exceeding its limits so I had to move it to a new server (more costly but better)

There may be a bug or 3 from the move , so feel free to post them and I will resolve them as time allows. (remember I have 2 other communities well 3 that I webmaster)

I want to also thank the 3 who donated while the site was in transistion, it helps more then you know with the new costs.

As for speed you should notice a bit of a difference (I do abit on dial up)

Ya the new server is awesome, I spent so much money last night (sighs) servers , new script to increase page views (another site).

Im gald its back up and running Inky, didnt realised how much I'd miss, it. Ive found that the bugs section isnt working and I cant post a new thread in the exotic section even though i can reply, its saying im forbidden...Thanks

What about profiles? I can't get it to work, I get a page that says it doesn't exist (same with network...ect.)

Lots of hugs for all you do for Nox. I have to have my Nox fix everyday or I'll just fall apart. LOL! :) This place is great. I know I should post more and comment more but Nox is daily reading for me.

Just spoke to Lost. He can log in but he cant get passed the 'changing server' message that was up during the process. It will log him him in and change the time at the base of the page but the message stays the same in the main page.

That means he is still seeing the old server, as I said the move can take awhile for it to show for all.

Different country's even different states show at different times when they update their dns records. Like some seen the new hours before I did.

Tell him also (some times) helps if he deletes all his cookies, offline content from IE (some times)

Other wise um he must wait :( that is why I did not open it till i seen it other wise I could not handle bugs.

So people know I am fully aware of the issues going on, I myself could not access the new Nox earlier.

This can not be helped as it is a name server dns move. It is a patience game and one that is no fun but was needed, those who see this message know the speed is better.

There is a work around url but I refuse to release it as my new site url is part of it, and I am trying to keep it separate from all Nox , Pranism things due to it is a pay to view site and is no discussion of this life on it.

So patience and waiting is all I can say...

Its not only that, but I do not want friends saying o0 come on man give me a free membership lol , on top of that I do not want Nox to be mentioned on the other or pranism.

...can finally access Nox wooo hoooo! I am not an addict...I am not an addict...Turns out it was an issue with my ISP not being able to find the new server. Thanks for the suggestions it managed to sort out a few other issues I was having.

I can access it maybe two or three minutes at a time, and then I get a 404 error.

The same thing as with Lauren...the error notice saying it doesn't exist. I have managed to access it about 15 minutes out of the last 24 hours (and I tried often )

If it does not line out tomorrow I will look more into it and contact godaddy (dns place)

All other sites I moved doing great, go figure.

Hmm.. well last night when I got back,was being told pranism simply didn't exist! Seems to be working today though, hopefully things are lining out then :)

Ya it is time thing, and I have fixed some dns in the server, so it should all line out soon.

I deleted the old server hoping that would help.

Well so far I have been having alot morel luck on Nox, I only hope that goes for the rest lol.

But even on dial up I see speed increase.
