I have noticed since my return that a lot of the members here now are...shall we say...above the voting age; some, like myself, quite a bit above. I seem to remember a lot of "young blood" previously. Not that there's not now, I just find it very refreshing that a lot of the "elder" vamps (no pun or insinuation intended) have found their way here.
Let's just say I don't feel so old now...hehehehehe...except in the mornings when I get up and my feet hurt. My feet didn't used to hurt in the mornings walking to drink my first pot of coffee...what the hell is THAT all about?

*laughs* I am WELL above the voting age. In fact, I'm downright old!

When the weather is as cold as it has been my bones ache so much lol I go into a kind of hybernation when the winter is here so that makes me feel old too lol

It's a bitch, isn't it? All of these pain meds available and still in pain.

Makes you wonder if they are just there to make you feel floaty light to distract you a little from the pain? *sighs*

Rose... Hun... That one may be more my fault...
Anyway... I'm not what you'd consider old, but I can relate to all the pain crap... ..
One of these days I'll stop being a coward and go see the nuerologist... Probably when life isn't quite so hectic... If that ever happens...

Ah yes the one universal constant - the Hunger, with a capitol H. when your alone its nasty -- but if your with someone, it CAN be iffy at times, if ones not fed. No matter what the term we may want to use, no matter the form we draw in to ease it -- we all still come back to the Hunger. funny how that works eh?
However, what separates those of us who are mature (vampiricly) from those that are not, in my mind, are thsoe that CAN control it. no matter how hungry we get, no matter how long weve gone -- its how we control it that matters. From what ive seen, its the weaker, or more ,t he irresponsible ones that will not only allow thier hunger control them -- but advocate doing so. Me? I am a being CAPABLE of reason - and i intend to utilise such reason. I feel myself better than that - and i practice that. even at the worst of times.
Just me babbling tho, dont mind me...
