I have never met another vampire in real life. I have never been to a gathering or a club. Never stood in the presents of another one like myself. Never touched nor felt another vampire. When I look in the mirror I see only myself....alone in a world that thinks I am crazy. I honestly feel like I am wasting away. How I long to be with others like myself. :(

I think at some point we all long to be with another vampire. It has been my experience I want to be around them for only a short time. Perhaps it is our dominant natures, for I am always ready for them to be gone within a couple of hours. Luckily it is not often I feel this, though I know many need companionship more often. I feel your pain and hope you can find the companionship you need here, amongst us at Nox.

It's interesting to be with others like yourself. It is definately a feeling you never forget. And if you do get used to being around others, then when you aren't around them, you kinda crave it. That's how it is for me. But it sucks to be lonely.

Whilst the meetups dont always happen, one way to at least find others would be to try meetup.com

We all at one point or another feel this way darlin *hugs* I myself dont have anyothers around me so its only when i travel to see some of those whom i have become close to and trust do i get to spend time with otherkin.Its certainly an experience you never forget and i still long for the closeness for that and always will.
Shame you dont live closer id put the kettle on for ya ;)

smiles. Im sorry to hear you feel this way Jevea but i can empathise. I have some like minded friends around, but only one other vampire that i know. And i do not see him often. It becomes to complicated. I always seem to see my life differently when i have spent to much time in his company.

The internet has been a great boon to me, I have strong connections with others like me and sometimes just speaking on the phone to another like me can help no end.
