I don't get Nat'l Geo on t.v. or subscribe to the mags, so I'm wondering if Nat'l Geo has a website where I can read about what they were saying about this?

Everyone knows Count Dracula is the product of Bram Stoker's imagination, but is this enduring pop-culture icon based in reality? Just in time for Halloween, NGC travels to the Transylvania region of Romania, into the heart of the Carpathian Mountains, to find the answer. Historians, folklorists, forensic science and modern medicine add insight to the enduring vampire myths, separating fact from fiction.

Yup, I can get that channel and plan to see what kinda bullshit they have to say.
You'll hear the real deal about Romania and the two debated castles when I get to that in my story, which incidently will start when Nox gets back to normal and Incubus and I figure out the best way to present it and keep the story flowing. So kiddies, jus hang on and the story will be on it's way before too long hopefuilly.
Yes, I have been to Romania, so stay tuned to hear what's what.

Sure there are things I haven't done. Toward the last of my story I'll talk about that. But, I wish I had a dollar for every person who's said I've had enough life experiences for 10-15 people. But gawd I hope that doesn't sound like bragging cuz I can't stand that.

BTW, the National Geographic special on TV airs at 8 PM on October 23 and again that night at 11:00 PM. Then it also airs Halloween night, October 31st, at 10:00 PM. I'm anxious to see what they say so I can compare it with my experiences.

Always gonna be those that make noise -- and with the media as it is these days, it just amplifies into the worst as possible category. *gags*

I'll say this and then be proven to being wrong probably. But the National Geographic special will probably conjure up some half truths. And some pure bullshit. But I'm gonna try to remain unbiased,. Then I'll critique the hell The whole thing has been centered with Brun Castle. Tepes may have stayed there a short time. but, it was the casteth is so commercialized as shit nowadays. Don't worry, my story will be covering a time before commercialization.
However, Tepe's residence at Ponari, which is now in ruins, was where Tepes was at home from taking breaks for waring factions. But some of the sponsors, I question, such as Monster.Com. I'll give you the real facts when I get to the part when I went to Romania.

I tried to watch the National Geographic special on Vampires tonight but wasted my time since I can't read fucking or any other kind of lips. You could hear music and background effects but you could not hear what anyone said. So, with that said, I'll try watching it again tonight when it re-airs at 11 PM. If the same thing happens, I'll try to stick a bloody fucking sword up the producer's arse.

Well, I did watch the re-airing the program on the National Geographic special ‘they wrote this: ‘ For the most part or, they said most vampires are either: they are fictional and real.
At one point of the discussions they told about remote villa in Southern Romania. Six men went to the local graveyard and pried off the cement and it’s Rear. Most of the time one of them cuts out the man’s heart, but the proving the opportunity. A family male member usual cut out the heart. It was a custom for the men them to dig up bones all male. There was girl alone who said she wanted her to use picture at the ritual. It was her father, but the member of the group voted her in to participate
This smacks of myth and unbelievable. When I was in Romania, I heard of that custom and wondered if it’s still true
There was a meeting of vampires somewhere in Manhattan and they acted more like we do. He had that look we all have, but overall, one person they interviewed was complaing when he said “had to do the deed.”
In another scene, a girl was asleep. A man woke her and she was drawing blood with a needle . She said “he had told me he was a vampire.”
The program became aggravating because the flashed back to the original Dracula movie made in 1933, I believe. A few times would have been OK, but on and on and on, I just got bored as hell when they did that.
Finally one man said, “Our offices must prevent Dracula and vampires.
No where in historical writings has there ever been a mention of Dracula.
Actually, Vampires are a huge event and we even have groupies who tend to be high school and college age Goths, and just plain people. It is their belief that all Dracula movies be terminated
now and in the future and never make another one. But we have a big vampire base today.
In one segment. A man was pointing to Ponari Castle which is in ruins and much more so, since I visited there many years ago.
Over in Romania there is always a priest who does vampire exorcisms.
That all in all it was kinda like I expected. Part bullshit and just a few facts.
The real truth will be exposed in my story

i remember watching that old 1933 Dracula on late night CBC -- funny as hell to watch the STRINGS flap the bats wings. hilarious movie overall. pity they seemd to use that as the bases for this crap -- and i aint even seen it yet. lmao.

The underlying theme of the show seemed to be saying vampires don't exist, using Dracula as an example. Bram Stoker was the first one ever that used the name of Dracula and look where it has gone. They threw in a couple of freaks as examples of moder-day vampires. The only one in the whole program that made any sense was one guy at a New York meeting of a group of vampires. The rest of the people would not be interviewed, or so it appeared. But, it was truly aggravating to see all those clips from the original Dracula movie and that was made in 1931 and starred Bela Lugosi.

LOL!! but but but ......Don is HOT!! LOL!
ew!
I think he'd look better with either no "soul patch" or one that was thicker, and trimmed better.
And a haircut.

Well, now...if ya wanna talk about Don, then that's sumpin else. He could shave the soul patch cuz that's the best he can grow. Leave the long hair (good for pulling in a wild sexcapade). Definately HOT. I'd gladly drink some blood with him at his table since his donor donates IV... But DO NOT try that unless you've been trained to do...such as a medic or a nurse, etc.
