My retirement from the staff side of Nox has been told of its coming for some time.
The time is now, not only due to I am ready but it is needed, I have many things going on in life and I need to be able to focus on it.
Although this is a retirement from the staff it is not retirement from the community, I plan to be active to the point I am able.
Being in the staff since 2002 when this all started I would like to thank all in the community for sharing this experience with me, working with me in this dream of Nox that we all made a reality.
I can now step down with no reservations, knowing that the staff and the community can run fine with out my voting in matters or being behind the wheel.
My input will still be given when asked, and some times when I see fit, but it will be just that input not law.
As stated before the crash I will reserve the right to insert 1 admin to take my place, at this time I have none in mind so I will retain that option till such a time I feel it is needed and warranted (right now not enough people to worry about it).
I look forward to seeing how Nox grows and changes, I know it will change in time (as it has in the last few years) knowing that it is holding its values and views.
One man or even a hand full of people do not make a community great, it is the community and the respect it shares that make it great. Nox holds to respect, honor and understanding and fairness, this is why it is a great community.
While I no longer will have any vote in the high staff choices, I will still offer any assistance I can (time allowing). I also will never let Nox lose itself and stand by watching (Hence why I brought back Nox when I seen the fake Nox going as it was).
I will still do some tech work as needed, and I am able (other parts of it easily handled by other admin) I also will be teaching Celeste and Rev anything that needs to be shown during the coming days.
But effective immediately I resign from admin and place myself into the alumni group, with the options and abilities that where set by the majority of the community.
With this I finally have the power I have always wanted, NONE :) Let us hope the time never comes I need to be an admin again, but I have faith in the fine staff of Nox that I am pretty sure that will never be the case.
Thank you all for all your support thru the good and bad times, and now I look forward to moving forward in the community and let others have the head ackes !!! lol
