whell first i just wanted to say this sight has explaned a lot about me that i didnt understand in my youth.
when i first started seeing auras i noticed tendrills lashing out at ppl who would pass me on the street and it kinda wierded me out yet fascinated me. one day i guess i absorbed som bad energy. it had just filled me with hate rage and anger. i was wandering if you can pick up bad energy like that.
over the years i have learned how to controll these tendrills better and absorbe energy from the things around me as apposed to ppl.

I myself have been havin the same kinda problem in my home.I normaly smuge the house weekly but with things being a little hectic i havent really had the time but its in dier need.I got some fabulous smudging sticks from a wee shop i know;)
The bad energy is there for sure about the house.I noticed it more today when i was doing the house work i became enraged for no reason and it didnt leave me until i left the house so that comfermed to me that somethings not quite right with things but all will be gone tomorow of that im sure.I normaly go through every room in the house working from the top to bottom going in all the rooms and saying a wee prayer while waffting the smoke in a clockwise fashion with a ravens feather.
Ive got a prity good idea where this negative energy has come from so will be puting something in place to stop anymore from getting through.If u can find the source thats half the battle fought.

Going to try experimenting myself with a few different things for smudging, to see if there's any much difference.

i have also herd of putting a pot of water by the doors.
apparently bad energy and spirits dont like to get their feet wet.
never tried that one.

My nana used to do that menace;) and i trusted her judgements even though i was only a wee nipper.Alot of what my nan used to do and say makes so much more sence now im older and wiser lol

I used to do that to people on purpose. If I felt them feeling at my shielding or trying to probe me, I slapped 'em upside the head with a bolt of nasty energy.

As for picking it up, only when someone touches me and I'm not on gaurd. Or if for some reason I happen to have dropped shields, or am not feeling well then yeah, but for the most part I'm over sensitive to energy I want to avoid and do avoid it like the plague.

the wind and water feed me.
and in return i feed the planet with every footstep
