hmm i can see the point of whats beeing said there definatly but theres a slight problem unless you can hunt your own fresh meat theres to much prossesed meat that most of us couldnt do something like this

i know your a chef rev so probably beter to coment than me but i know beef is about one of the only meats that can be taken rare as pork and chicken and that sort of thing carry alot of bacteira were as the grain of beef is tiht enough so that as long as the fist few millimeters are cooked the rest is fine but most other meats are a possible risk of saminela and other things.

seems a good idea just would be to warry to try it lol

Thats very true Preist. It was one thing for our ancestors to eat raw meat as it came fresh from the kill, but nowadays the process between slaughter and arriving at your home/supermarket takes a lot longer and the slaughter process is less clean as well. Still, it is a very interesting theory Rev and thanks for posting it. I'd have to agree with preist on it though, whilst I'm happy enough to eat very rare steak (or tartare at a push) and things like tuna etc or sushi, there's no way that you're getting me near raw white meat lol

I have an awful problem with eating raw anything, i have been very lucky so far not to get sick but ill eat em raw, hotdogs, beef, steaks, sausages, BACON(especially). However, when eating hamburger, im very careful with the beef blood (eh who am i kidding no im not.) Ill take off bits and pieces and eat it raw, then i put the remaining hamburger in the over and cook it just enough so that its warm and i drink the blood right off the plate, some of it is congealed but for the most part its warm and goes down my throat very well.
